Creating a positive, respectful space where every child can thrive.

Our Approach
At Bright Sparx Tutoring, we believe that all children learn best in a calm and supportive environment. We take a positive, proactive approach to behaviour, focusing on encouragement, praise, and clear expectations.

What We Expect from Children
To help every child succeed, we ask that all learners:
-
Show kindness and respect to others
-
Listen carefully and follow instructions
-
Stay engaged and try their best
-
Respect the learning space, the tutor, and their peers

Working in Partnership with Parents
We believe that behaviour is a shared responsibility. Parents and carers play a key role in supporting their child’s understanding of appropriate behaviour during tutoring sessions.
-
If a child displays challenging behaviour, we will always address it gently and positively in the moment.
-
Should behaviour continue to affect the group, we will contact parents to discuss strategies and next steps.
-
If, despite this, the behaviour continues to disrupt learning, Bright Sparx reserves the right to remove the child from the group to ensure a positive experience for all learners.

Supporting Children with SEN
We recognise that children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) may express themselves differently, and we are committed to understanding and supporting their individual needs. We take a compassionate and informed approach, making reasonable adjustments and working closely with parents to ensure that every child is given the opportunity to succeed in a way that works for them.

Open Communication
We value open and honest conversations. If you have any concerns or questions, we welcome the opportunity to talk and find a solution together.
